Outside backcase Sr.# 269514 - The inside says: Bulova Quality and a Sr.#2185947
1934 Ranger ad snippet Fifth mentions:

Case dimensions of some rangers and subject watch may help (two of these were entered w/i a couple days of each other).
Other "unknown" dimensions are:
Case measures: 36.5mm x 25.6mm (not counting crown)
Crystal measures: 15.8 x 24.2mm
Lug gap: 14mm
I looked for measurements of other Rangers in DB but couldn't find any records w/ measurements.
Identical 1932 'UNKNOWN' as subject http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1932-unknown-4902 compared with 1934 ad 'snippet' above.
Photo missing due to off-site hosting. Please load images on MyBulova so they don't dissapear with time....
The Cases are a Match.
Same case, just that minutes register and numbers position. Possible dial change? Otherwise Ranger, two ticks.
I know we have arlredy named this (and other example) unknown, but I'm changing my position to Ranger, which would be tentative from me....just for future reference....
Tentative Ranger
Well this one got changed to Ranger somehow. That was quick.
Maxim, 1932 ad from Lisa.

Earliest Ranger ad is from 1936, below.

The Maxim ad is from 1932, same as the watch.
Centre minutes track, same as Maxim.
