Record updated to new owner 2/17/2016. I purchased this watch from plainsman about a year ago. Following are his original comments: Looked through all of our Ad's and the only thing I can find is the attached ad. I believe this to be the Ambassador in a two-tone case. Double date stamped, Shield with a Anchor hand stamp over the top. This doesn't seem that it's the original bracelet but someone tracked down a pretty nice two tone replacement.

I think I mentioned about this ad being for the two-toned model when it was first posted. Or one similar to it.
I noticed the difference in shading on the case in the ad, and I posted an ad for the 1934 President with similar shading (it's disappeared now) that was questioned when posted, but compared with other ads that do not show light and dark shading in the same way, and also the finding of ads that say this model also came in two-tone (the Prez, good find Stephen), I would say this example is an Ambassador, and a rare variant at that.
Good find, and probably a first.

Yeah at the time of your intial comment on the ad I didn't know what watch you were talking about. I think this is the first one I've seen. It's usually the mid-30's that Bulova had a version in yellow, white, or a combo of many of their models it seems.
