Just updating these pictures. I think we should go with the Ambassador on this one but we never got past Unknown back when this was first posted.
Oh Boy Howdy! Kinda looks like my 1933 Envoy-diamond dot engraving! Is your case 2-tone?

Envoy would be my call too.
Ah... yep that looks like our guy! You know I think i looked at that ad as well but my mind glossed right over him. Cool...

This Edwin is 1929. It may be the same model just with a later edition dial and hands that were common for 1932.
Most of the late 1920s watches that carried over to the 30 had a dial change over of this nature,
But now looking at it again I'm note sure. Keep it as 'Unknown' for now would be my advise until we know more.

I like this for the Edwin

The 'EDWIN' clearly has an engraved Bezel Wayne, the 'UNKNOWN' above clearly does not.

The engraving I think you are seeing & referring to is the standard opposing arrows on most all 1925-1930 Bulova mens watches. It's too far over the side of the bevel curve & exagered in the ad.

See Steve I though Edwin as well... but after looking at both... the Edwin has that plain strip running down the inside of each side of the bezel. Just like the Richard. Don't know if it's gold or white gold from this Edwin ad.
This unknown has a full etch on the sides of the bezel without that strip.

I don't see the opposing arrows on the side of your watch Plaines. A definite indication of a 1932 or higher Bulova tonneau.
I like it as the 'ENVOY'

Watch matches the ad 100%.
