This watch came from my grandfather's estate about 12 years ago and it has been in an old jewelry box since then. I am interested to have it restored, but would like to know more about it first. For example, which model is this? It seems to have some similarities to Apollo and Lone Eagle models, but it's not an exact match to any photos of vintage Bulovas that I have found online.

Movement Serial# 509099

Case serial number 1241682. There also appears to be some hand-inscribed dates on the inside. Not sure what they correspond to...perhaps service dates?

I was just looking around at the page of unknown Bulova models and found two examples of this same case.
We never found the Bulova name for this beauty, alas we tag it as Unknown. Congrats on having a wonderful keepsake from your grandfather! 1931 Bulova Unknown
Congrats on having this lovely heirloom from your grandfather. Even though it is unknown for now it is well worth having serviced and maybe put a new crystal on it and enjoy wearing it.

Thanks, all for the replies! I’m wondering if any of you might be able to recommend watchmaker in the Allentown, PA area who might be a good choice for restoring this watch?
