Picked this one out of a flea market junk box about 3 hrs prior to posting. Needs to be serviced, balance appears good. Interesting hinged case with wire lugs and engraved face. No exterior case markings but marked with S/N and "Bulova Quality" on inside. Replacement band is a Kestenmade. Jewel on crown has the tip broken off. I am pretty sure this is a 1931 Rona. Based on the 2 ads I reference (both dated 1931), there appears to have been more than one variation of Rona in 1931. The "slave bracelet" version 42019F had interesting band ends that matched the case, the "tubular band" model is pretty much a dead match to subject watch. If this is indeed a 1931 Rona, it's a first for this model variant in the database.
It's kind of hard to tell in the photos; numerals and "Bulova" on dial are raised gold.
A Rona it is!
