Watch Description

Hello, I'm sorry I don't know more. I am afraid to open watches myself. I can go to a jeweler if you think it would be absolutely necessary. These belonged to my grandparents. i checked with Bulova and on line information. It doesn't have an icon.  Thank you for your time. I hope I did this correct.

Thank your for posting your watch.  It appears the photo upload has distorted the picture but from what I see it looks like a yellow gold version of a 1932 Bulova Trident.

Trident was my first guess as well, but I find no ads indicating it was available in natural gold. I suspect this may be  Alden. The ad shown in the referenced watch (Alden) is dated 1935.

Many watches in this timeframe had 2 serial numbers. Outside case back being 6 digits and interior case back being 7 digits. If there is an interior serial number, in order to date watches marked as such, we need the inside number or the date stamp on the movement

Good point Bob.

Michelle is is possible for you to open the back case to see if there is indeed an internal case serial number?

I suspect there is an internal number that might help clarify the year.

1932 Bulova Trident

Thinking Trident, but does depend on the year.

I'd say Trident for this year.
