Written on watch face ~ Bulova Swiss. Written on inside of back cover ~ Pat. June 10, 1924 Bulova 14K Gold Filled New York C274705. Written on watch mechanism ~ 6 Adjustments 21 Jewels Bulova Watch Co. 9AF. Written on watch band ~ Maxim Pat. Pendg. I searched the ad data base and could not find although the 1930 President and Ambassador look close ads were not clear enough to confirm either way.
Absolutely lovely, inner and outer in great condition too.
That "C" in the case serial number will more than likely be a mis-struck "0", giving a 1930 date.
This matches the box, as the Bulova Observatory was not opened until 1930.
Is there a date mark on the movement Jim?
Great set Jim. I think I see an omega on the movement picture. Omega = 1930, as everything else suggests. Nice
Thanks guys i will open the back when i am a little more awake and confirm the date symbol. I wound it when i got it and it ran all night and is still running,

Spencer is closer than anything else.
Stop finding unknown watches Jim, it is a pain in the a**! :-)
Lol i told my wife the same thing.... Seems i have a knack in finding the unknowns, But they are sweet.
Picture above was posted by Wayne in 2010 as a 1928 Spencer. Dead on except for the Radium dial and hands are differnt
