Nice one. Was watching it but didn't bid on it myself. Even with the Canadian postage, good score.

Good Eye!
I think the hands in the ad are incorrect for a 1928 ad. 1928 ad should have cathedral hands vs spade & sword!
In reply to Good Eye! I think the hands by Wayne Hanley
I agree with Wayne. The ad shows your typical 1926/1927 style spade hands and Bulova (as usual) did not update the advert to depict this change (not worth the money to do so).
The cathederal hands were introduced as far as I can tell in late 1927.
Movement is Dated 1928 but the Watch possibly could be a 1929 model? I noticed a 1930 Revere in the database showing the same Hands.
I'd say the hands were changed at some point. The luminous in the hands is aged okra color and the dial figures are green. Still I would have both the dial and hands restored using the same color lum.
International Dial does a great job with that kind of job.
Hands are original to the Watch IMO, same lume.
Was watching that watch, dang it, as Jerin would say, "just gonna have to hate you for an hour or two Mark", sorry.
Nice - great price too.
