I have been wanting to get one example of an emerald stoned early ladies watch. The Miss Liberty was my top choice. They are pretty pricey so I had almost decided I wouldn't be getting one when this one popped up at a price I was happy with. One of the stones is chipped but other than that I am very happy with it. It is marked Bulova Quality, has a 15 jewel 6AP movement that started up for me. I hope to pick up a filagree band for it at some point.
That's a real beauty, congrats! I personally think the Emerald and Sapphire accented watches are classic and really are a great style snapshot of the time period.

Thanks Bob! I agree and felt it was worth adding to my collection even though it is not my main interest just for that reason.

This watch model was one of the first I ever serviced when I started my business, and set me on the road to being a Bulovisti.

That is a great story, thanks for sharing. It is a classic for sure.
I've always liked this model as it was the first ladies Bulova watches I owned and I think one of the original watches entered into the database back in 2006. To this day I'm still searching for a correct filigree band.

I like that it was a popular watch at the time it was sold new. Holds a little more of a historical point for me. If I ever see a correct filagree band I will let you know : )
Hi Kathy, congratulations with this Miss Liberty! Including a nice green cabochon crown!

Hi Alex, Thank you! I really wanted an emerald example so I was pretty happy to find this one. And with the green cabochon crown. Thank you for the advise on the movements.
She's beautiful Kathy!
