Miss Liberty with 6 synthetic sapphires. Top middle stone looks to be a replacement. Nice filigree bracelet. Movement has the omega symbol for 1930 but case s/n starts with 9 so I'm thinking the movement might have been swapped. Would like to hear your thoughts on that.
As a member of the Panel of myBulova.com it is my fiduciary responsibility, in the spirit of full disclosure, to report that on Tuesday the thirtieth day of January, in the year of our Lord two thousand and thirteen, between the hours of 6 PM and 9 PM local time, I enjoyed a pizza/beer/Chicago Blackhawks celebration with Mr. Bruno in his home. I am compelled to report that this watch, as is true of many watches, looks MUCH better in person than it does in his wonderful photographs.
Of course it's a Miss Liberty, Bob knows his stuff. And furthermore I don't think it was a movement swap, "this years case, last years movement" = never a problem for me.
Thanks again Bob, as usual, I enjoyed our visit.
Geoff thank you but I think I'm going to have to change your beverage from beer to Coca Cola! For the third time it's this years movement last years case. :-)
Thank you Robert, I've wanted the Coca Cola watch for quite some time now, I'm heading back over, be there in a few minutes, I have an hour before I need to be at the airport anyway.
Geez, and I only had ONE BEER!! Really. It was a Sam Adams Oktoberfest as I recall....
Updated image 5 on 2-5-13. Since original post I believe this watch came with it's original bracelet.
1929 Case and 1930 movement. Should we change date to 1930 Miss Liberty? Sure looks like the case, mvnt and bracelet are "original" to this great watch.

Keep it 1929.

Isn't this contrary to our usual SOP for determining date, in light of probable movement original to case? Well within two years.

Yes, it is contrary to SOP but then some of my opinions often are.
Bob, I'm seeing now that you think (or ask) if the movement might have been swapped. Is this still under consideration?
