This watch was a fun one to get. First I never thought I would be able to find one and then my husband offered to get it as an anniversary gift which gave me the liberty to bid a bit more than I might have otherwise. Happily I am the new owner of this rare bird. It is in very nice condition, the engraving is nice and crisp, the dial is bright and was advertised as working but I haven't tried to run it.
It has a 1929 movement and 1930 case. I believe these were only advertised with rubies in 1930, at least that is all I have seen. I personally love emerald and ruby watches but it seems sapphire was the top stone of the time period. Will include a comparison shot with the emerald Miss Liberty. A superb example! That band is a nice match.

Thanks Bob! Funny the first Miss Liberty I got was a sapphire one. When I got the emerald version I sold the sapphire one. Now I am kicking myself lol no rush, I will get another one someday.
