1928 Lady Lindy / Deauville
Hot off the bench! Although I purchased this watch on eBay several years ago, I only recently serviced it. New crystal & mainspring, cleaned & lube the movement, adjusted the hairspring, cleaned the dial (see the before picture of the dial!). Although the movement stills shows a lot of "tarnish" it works very well now (300 degrees amplitude), and keeps good time.
Beautiful watch and nice job getting it serviced.

Amazing watch and an excellent resto!

How you could sit on this beauty for two years before servicing is beyond me. Please tell me your secret for cleaning that dial. It came out amazing!

I first gently clean it with a Q-tip saturated with soapy water to remove dirt and grime. Then I dip it in Tarn-X for 10 seconds, followed by a rinse in purified water. Dry with air. Hope this helps.

Lady Lindy.. gorgeous watch. I think I have 2 or 3 of these now.
Wonderful. 1928 Bulova Lady Lindy

That box is really cool!
Here is a replica Western Union Cablegram I created as shown in the original advert.
