Hello, I would like to submit this ladies watch for review. I believe it is a 1928 Lady Lindy Sport model. The enamel looks to be completely original and in excellent condition. I had the movement professionally cleaned and oiled.
This is a very fine example of a difficult watch to find. It was professionally serviced in March 2022.
The enamel is in original, near perfect condition.
I agree with the Lady Lindy. Beautiful example.
This is indeed the Lady Lindy.
Are any of the two watches you posted for sale?
A very nice example of a 1928 Bulova Lady Lindy. The enameling is in very good condition. Usually there is some chipping.
From the ebauche FHF 332, a common one for Bulova.
Amazing example, thanks for sharing it!
1928 Lady Lindy she is.
1928/29 Bulova "Lady Lindy" box
Innner silk top cover states "In Honor of and Endorsed by Miss Amelia Earhart. The 'Lady Lindy'

Here is a replica Western Union Cablegram I created as shown in the original advert.

A better advert dated September 14, 1928 showing the box and watch.

Have just realised that the above Jake Gerson advert actually states the following:
"MISS EARHART'S picture and an authentic reproduction of her cablegram are enclosed with this perfect timepiece - the "Lady Lindy" - in the unique specially designed box."
Wow, so just like the Lone Eagle facsimile, there is also one for the Lady Lindy. The hunt begins!!
