I've been waiting on baited breath for her to arrive!
I've seen a couple advertisements with a bezel full of diamonds but I don't know if I've seen this shape.
The case is platinum and she has 28 diamonds mounted around the bezel. Fantastic etching and a classy inscription on the back... just a gorgeous watch.
Very nice watch. Always very difficult to verify these platinum watches as original Bulova by lack of any ad. Of the 6 main shapes, Bulova only advertised 2 shapes in a platinum with diamonds version. Do the other 4 shapes exist? Who knows. Maybe the subject watch is one of them? Possibly.

Looking at this advert, you can certain see a ballpark price-tag back in 1923.

Right!? The two closest we have ads for sold for $195 USD in 1923.... todays equivalent = $2,965.08 !!!
