So is this the stuff I want for oiling or is it cheap garbage?  And after looking around the higher the number the heavier the oil?  Is that right?

This is quality oil but there are many different grades of oil for different parts of the watch.

Thats the good stuff, but you need diff weights for diff parts of the watch and I dont see if theses are 4 diff oils or 4 bottles of 1...1 of those bottles would last 100 lifetimes of professional watch oiling on a daily basis lol

Gotta CLEAN before you OIL big man !!! otherwise you just create a lubed slurry of cutting material (wore metal particulates+new lube) to chew things up......

Properly you should oil all  pivits in the jewels, and pivits without jewels, remove the dial, and repeat the same on the top, and if your brave enough, remove the balance and oil the jewels top and bottom of balance, and a lite touch on the palet jewels, that should make it tick again.

 I cant believe that I just told you that ! It's against all ethics of watchmaking!  LOL

The watches really need to be properly serviced.

Oh Mike I'm not going to be putting you out of business anytime soon.  Oh yes.. tonight I'm going to remove the balance!  haha...

I didn't mean for that to sound smarty... heck I'm still skert everytime I open the case much less taking off the... uhmm balance thingy you say? =)

By the way Jerin, If you get even the smallest bit of oil on the hairspring, you will have to send me the watch for a full service ! Beware!  I'm serious!
