The Craftsman closeup:
There were two Craftsman variants listed in the 1961 pricelist at $71.50, the 'H' and the 'J'. Both are listed with Yellow case, the 'J' is also listed with a Black dial.

1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series Watch
This is a fascinating watch. It is a 14kt Gold watch with 20 diamonds on the dial. Several players on the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series Championship team was gifted one by Wilkens jewelers for being a winning pitcher or hitting a home run. The manager received one also. It appears it was also offered for sale. I wonder if the Pirates ones were engraved.
Placing this 1960 ad but this model goes back to 1959 as I have a movement and dial from 1959 that is a match. Hopefully a complete model shows up. I am also including a picture of a dial and movement from the 1959 version I have.

Ok here is one for for the sleuths of the site. I found these ads from 1961 & 1962 referencing a men's and ladies model called the "Fifth Ave". It seems to be a new name in the database. There are no pictures or clarification if it is a Bulova or a Caravelle. That being said it is a higher priced watch which seems to rules out Caravelle. I am putting it on this forum do document its reference. I wonder if the model is one of the unknowns.

I found a picture of the mens. It sure looks like a 1960 Surf King but not like the 1961 Surf King which as a different case. Did they change the 1960 Surf King to a 5th Avneue in 1961?
