Hi all! Just found this forum and joined yesterday. Lots of great info on here that I have been reading up on especially the pics of watches, identifying them etc. Awesome site!
I just acquired a 71 aDeep Sea Chrono and after complete disassembly I found a broken mainspring. I ordered a new one and it should arrive next week. In the mean time I am going to work on the case cleaning etc. looking at the pushers they look different than the 7750s, Seiko 6139,6138, 7015 that I have worked on. I don’t see a screw slot or c-clip for removal? This may be a dumb question, but how do I remove them?
Also, does the rotating bezel just pop-off from the slots at 3 and 9?

Ok, update, got the movement completely disassembled and precleaning done. So far all looks good (except mainspring).
Was able to remove the bezel quite easily compared some past projects. I was pleasantly surprised to just find the normal “wrist cheese” when stripped the case down. There is ZERO corrosion or rust! Into the ultrasonic after some pegwood cleaning.
The pushers are working find and it looks like they may by sealed units that are press fit into the case. If so, I will leave in place as I don’t own the Bergeon 6160 tool and I don’t want to damage them!

I am still waiting on some parts (minute recording pivot was bent) and arbor screw, both in the mail. I have not been able to locate the 825-AW crystal. Does anyone have an idea where I can source the crystal or an equivalent replacement. I have sanded and polished the crystal I have but has some crazing and I would like to replace if possible. Tried to upload some pics but the site said they were too many GB…..
