Late 20's / Early 30s watches , why do some say 14k and some dont on the inside backs? ---

Recently Ive been searching for a late 20's / early 30's engraved Bulova to add to my collection.

Ive noticed that some will say 14k on the inside backs, and some will not.

Are they all gold fill, even without the stamp?

These are both the same model watch, the "14k" has a 1931 movement 10AN ... and the "Bulova Quality" has a 1929 movement 10AL.  Thanks!  ---

I don't know the cutoff point for either stamping, but "Quality" was an indicator of gold plating or "fill" thickness.

Thank you!  I just thought it was weird that the same model watch, and same year (1929 based on the SN) ... would have different stampings.  I appreciate the response ---
