I notice that the 10BC movement looks to be date stamped from 1946; so perhaps it is not the original movement or the watch is actually dated to 1946 (case s/n beginning w/ '5' is 1945, movement is 1946). Is there a datestamp on the caseback or the movement, such as L#

The watch also looks to be a match to the 1940s Officer; an example here.
