I'll let everyone in on part of my secret sauce. When I look at vintage watches I use the crown as one of my 'buying guides'. Original crowns on most Bulovas are easy to spot and the condition will often mirror, in my experience, the rest of the watch. This President and also the '31 Apollo I just posted still have visible notches down the center. When I see those notches it seems like the watch will be a 'sock drawer beauty' and often they are.
