Wow that was quick I spent so much time trying to ID this watch. It certainly looks like you nailed it . 1955 cavalier. I love this watch! picked it up at an antique shop in Sackets harbour for 35.00 a watch repair place removed the back so I could photograph it and said it was very clean. he buffed some scratches out of the crystal and it looks great and keeps good time. I love rescuing watches like this one. so many of the gold cases get melted down...tragic.
