I am so excited to know the confirmed identity of my watch! So, 1929 Roberta it is. (and how wonderful to see the advert from that time) Whatever her name, the watch is lovely and I think my Mimi would be very thrilled that I enjoy wearing it, even non-running, in 2017. Many thanks to panel members for helping to correctly ID my watch, for more info on the later-era band, and for enlargement of the picture of the internal watch case and movement, as well as providing those marvelous adverts. I wore the watch yesterday to lunch with friends and received many compliments on my "vintage watch bracelet"; will look forward to continual wearing of Roberta and hope to one day pass it on to my own granddaughter.
