I didn’t say top loaders weren’t chrome. Top loaders don’t typically have removable case backs. But I’ve looked through all the Watertite models in the member watches and I don’t recall seeing any of the top loaders with a one piece chrome case. But it’s only the “F” variant that’s at issue here. The ‘51 ad specifically says the “F” has a chrome case and a stainless case back. The subject watch clearly does not have a removable back. So unless there was a change to the “F”, that description should apply to the ‘53 as well. I have looked through the ads multiple times to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
