Could you please have another look at the movement serial number. I feel that there is one more number hidden under the center second hand wheel.
It certainly makes sense that this is an original piece, with the dial and movment combination. I'm not sure about the second hand, but it may be original too.
What's the initials on the dial "AB"???? Arde Bulova anyone ;-)
