The Snorkel "F" as advertised in the above advert sold for $89.95, so I'm wondering what the "H" variant offered that was different at $95.
The only difference that I can see is that my "ET" ring has a luminous round dot at 12 o'clock position...the 1 in my ad has a black triangle digit to match the other indices without luminous insert. I have a 2-tone 18K Rolex Submariner that has a similiar luminous dot in the same position as my old Snorkel "H" (to me that's the way a diver's watch should be...By the way, I am a scuba diver)!
The other difference that I see is the dial script positions: Both dials have Bulova in white gold applied script on the dials, same hands, same luminous digits & indicies.....But on my Snorkel "H" under Bulova it has SNORKEL in white script. Below the hands it has 666 FEET in white script...then below that it has AUTOMATIC in white script. At the bottom (below the 6) my Snorkel "H" has T SWISS T in white script also. These are the only differences that I can see....but....I can't see where this would make a price difference! When I bought this at Fort Leonard Wood Post Exchange I received my active military discount....My price was $61.00 so the advertised price of $95 didn't really matter back then. I just wish that I would have bought a lot more watches back when I was in the ARMY!!!
