Hello mlove, welcome to myBulova. A treasure from your father is a wonderful thing, congratulations. I'm a big fan of heirlooms, this is a great one to have, watches are very personal items.
Bulova called these watches "Spaceview". They were so proud of the Accutron technology and thought the movement was so revolutionary (and it was!) that they decided to sell a model that didn't have a traditional face to cover the movement. They were and always will be very popular, could be the most popular watch Bulova ever produced. Over the years so many Accutrons were converted to Spaceview that it's a whole science to determine originality. I think yours is all original, right down to the bracelet. We call that bracelet the 'coffin link' style. If, at some point in the future your watch needs service, I suggest you be extremely selective as to who works on it, this technology is tricky.
I suggest this model is the Accutron Spaceview "G" as shown below, The "G" is a bit hard to read but when Bob uploaded the advert that's what he though it said.
