Hi sfedullo, we have one more similar ladies watch with a star case: http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1938-unknown-6309
It is certainly out of the ordinairy. Movement would be 1929, since to my knowledge the 6AF was not produced any longer in 1939. Style of the case is also early 30's. Case serial would put it in 1930 assuming that if it is all original Bulova, they would have asked Star case to follow their case encoding system. Is there any engraving on the outside of the back of the case or is all the info inside? Reason I ask is that as from 1934 Bulova put also info outside as per the link I put above.
So, nice watch. Unknown for the moment. Would you have a detailed photo of the case signature inside?
