These two ads show that the 666 feet tested models were all known as Snorkels.  The first ad says: "every single Bulova Oceanographer Snorkel is tested under 666 feet of pressure" while the second one says: "Tested to 333 feet. And in the case of the Snorkel model, 666 feet."  We even have Bulova records naming them Snorkel in the mid-seventies.
