Davy, it is possible, depending on your attachment to this watch to have it fully restored. A watchmaker can clean and oil the movement (critical if you want to use it daily), polish the case and, if you really want to do it up have the dial refinished to it's original glory. For the sentimental value it might be worth the cost of the job.
