Well as that "patina" is probably radium residue and as is the numbers, I would get it redone with non-radium luminscent paint. It will look fantastic.
Check out Geoff Bakers watches, he has several 20's that he's had redone and they look fantastic. Plus... you know... your not going to get the cancer from them.
