 Holy cow !!! What a gorgeous watch. That bracelet is to die for !  Bulova quit servicing the tuning fork movements many years ago so, if one was returned to them for service, they replaced the movement with a quartz movement.  I would guess that , when you open it , you will find an ISA1198xxx movement. I'm with bobbee, if it was mine I'd buy an Accuquartz movement and return it to original. Accuquartz movements are incredibly accurate.

  One additional piece of information, that watch was made in Switerland and not in the US.
