In reply to To me dubbing this watch as a by oberuber
Here is the pattern that I am seeing Will, too bad we don't have more ladies Accutron ads on hand, but in time I am sure we will.
No day or date...model is ID'd by a 3 digit number, no matter what movement (214, 218) it has. The 214 movement never had the day or date capability.
Day only...model is ID'd as a Calendar with a letter designation, no matter what movement. (except 214)
Day & Date...model is ID'd as a Day/Date with letter designation, all movements. (except the 214)
The exceptions to this "theory" are the Spaceview's & Astronaut's, which are not only named, but also have letter variants. I doubt the "Woody" is a Bulova name, but at least its a mybulova name for now.

214, 218, 218D, 2182, 219, 2210, 2300, 2301, 2302, 2303, 2312, 2313, Accuquartz 2240, 2241, 2242, ESA 9162, 9164, 9210 are all Movement numbers...just like a 10AN, 7AK, 8 AE, ect.. If your watch is not running, and you need parts to fix the Movement, guess what...you will need to know which Movement is in it to get the right part.
From the ads that we now have, the only difference in the way Bulova marketed the Accutrons verses the Mechanicals, are less names, and more numbers/letters, and ID'ing these are no different.
