Update.

(notice. I am new to vintage watch culture, so if my referencing another site is bad etiquette, please forgive me. I am merely trying to find answers to questions and increase knowledge!)

I found the first image of another watch like this just this morning. It is on the site, watchophilia.com. I feel comfortable using some more detailed information from the listing there to help fill in some blanks in my description of my watch.

Case Dimensions:  35.6mm lug to lug x 28.6mm without crown (28.6mm without lugs)

Case Type: Snap Back, Cushion

Crystal Specifications: 22mm x 22mm, cushion

The watch I am gleaning this information is exactly the same case, but with a black face. It is merely titled, "1963 Unknown"  (I am pretty sure that means that person also doesn't know the model name either, as Bulova most likely hasn't named such a handsome watch model, "The Unknown" as it is highly unlikely such a clever name would have superceded the arrival of Monty Python in 1969).

And now for something completely different...
