Sorry, I got a bit busy. I saw another ad where the Tux was offered with leather band for a lower price, but that's the general idea. I wouldn't discount the idea that the bracelet was melted down during a gold spike...kind of like what is happeneing now. That way, the owner could make some fast cash, put the watch on a leather band, and continue to wear it. I am constantly horrified these days at how many priceless heirlooms are being scrapped or irreparably damaged in the rush to cash in. There will be a lot of orphan movts in the years to come, some having been crowbarred out of their cases and damaged.
