Who is the case manufacturer? Looks like a star watch case if it is a screw on back. Do we have have any examples of American standard cases that are screw on as opposed to snap back or hinged? Rob I have a similar dial same material marked Hudson maxim. The movement is certainly early enough. But the enameled markings on these dials did nut cone off easy and there were certainly common dials. I have 2 safety barrels. They are possibly as early as the long click spring 17 jewels. Even more interesting I have one safety barrel that is a 7 jewel. Possibly earlier than the long click spring. And one that is a 17 jewel. Does Bulova ever make it easy on us?! :-)
