It is not dual stamped.

The case is hinged.  I think the patent date is relevent to indicating that the case is 1926.  I am thinking in terms of the 1927 patent date that often appears.  I would think that a 1927 production would include this number.

So are we dating models in the database by the date of the case or the date of the movement?  It usually will not matter but for this watch...
