THIS WAS A COMMENT IN A POST ON THE STANDISH BY SCOTT LAST YEAR:

"AWE HA! 3/3 from 1950!!!

 

Ok... There's the Shoreham, Stanton and Standish. (All 1950+ varietals, I believe... that take the same crystals!) NOW, where the heck are the ads/Jewelers catalogs to discern which are what!? (DARN !!!)

SHOREHAM (1950)   STANDISH (1950)   STANTON (1950)

* Info. source: 1950 Perfit Catalog... (And none listed before '50 in the other trio of 1948/9 catalogs...)

HMMM... Alphabetical, from plain to most engraved bezel???  LOL..."

 

 

Hrmm okay so as of tonight because of the Spanish ad we know that the

Shoreham = All Engraved

and we're thinking the one engraved on just the sides

Standish = Engraved Sides Only

So... if you look at what crystal fits... this would be the

 Stanton = No Engraving

I think we have the 1950 Stanton!
