Gary - sorry - called you Shawn (Shawn - apologies to you too) - good question, Looks like, to Marks point below the insert with the watch might have been added. I still construct the "President A" ID based on the hang tag, with a couple points for the clam shell (the watch has been in it for a good while based on the amount of the corfam strap that has rubbed off inside of it). I bring the "Jet Star" in only as proof that it is the name of a collection, not a single watch. By the way - your watch is beautiful. I love this era.
Mark - to your point I guess the ad could be construed as stating that the three Jet Star Collection watches shown are 17 J, but maybe not all of them were. The Pres could be a 23j Jet Star but I have no basis to state it as fact or even a possibility. Nice ad by the way, is it in the db?
