Doing a image match overlay, both the Suzanne and Magnolia drawing match up perfectly in dimensions for the case, dial and hands so I don't think we can say that they were different.

Once agin does it not make sense that Bulova simply released a newer model of the Suzanne in 1926/27. We see this time and time again with Bulova.

and re-released it as the Magnolia, possible due to this http://www.archive.org/details/RayStaritaOrch-Magnolia1927.

1926 Bulova Suzanne and the 1927 Bulova Magnolia

Show Boat played in New York in 1927 and features a character named Magnolia

From the Square date symbol and the cathederal hands I'd put this as a mid to late 1927 release watch thus making it a Magnolia.
