20 YEARS indicated gold fil or Rolled Gold Plate Warranty, as to the time guarantee before base metal would not show through the plating. Before 1924 GF or RGP cases were marked as to quality & thickness with either 5-10-15-20-25-30 year warranty . After 1924 cases are not guaranteed but are marked with the 10-14-etc as quality marks of the GF or RGP, as they are today. The American Standard Globe Symbol does not appear in my reference book.
