Well, as I've said, but feel the need to say one more time, you are determining when the strap matters according to your own opinion, and you don't have all the facts.
If the Carla and Lady Berkshire ad proves anything it is that without all the ads, we are always relying on some level of assumption when making IDs. Sometimes those assumptions will be right, sometimes wrong. I don't think you are the only one who is capable of making the correct assumption. Until yesterday, you would not have argued that your "Lady Berkshire" could be another model based on the strap. So why not have a rating system that takes into account as many specific factors as we have determined might be important?
As for the ratings speaking for themselves, I really can't believe you said that. I don't think anyone really understands what those three checks mean, and they sure aren't applied consistently. What they mean to you, they most definitely don't mean to every other panel member. That fact has been discussed repeatedly, as everyone has made up their own "rules" regarding when they will or will not give any particular number of checks. That very issue was clear earlier this week in the Chron C discussion.
Why not agree on some objective criteria that can address all points of view? Where is the harm in that?
