Kind of a cool story. I found the original owners family. I was looking online and found the geneology for Mr. Ralph pretty easily. Then found his grandson. Might try to contact them to see about some information on him and what sort of business he did.
I'd like to keep this watch as a personal piece, but to be honest. If that guy wanted his grandfathers watch I'd give it to him at cost of what I got it for.
As a guy who started collecting because I found my grandfathers engraved watch and got curious, I can feel for someeone getting in touch with their ancestorers.
