Everything points to a 1952 Bulova Ambassador. The case is a match to the Ambassador "C" (non-flared lugs vs the "A" case) with a slightly different dial or the design has worn off. It should be noted the black dial has no inner dial design but is white. I would classify this as a 1952 Bulova Ambassador "C".
