Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your heirloom watch with us. From the 1957 linebook, page 57, your watch is an Empress "K". I would be inclined to date this as 1957 until we can see the movement. It is in the 1957 linebook but not the 1958 or 1958/59 linebooks. Also without a date code the serial number seems to indicate the year stating with the 7.
