Thanks for the feedback JimDon5822. I am wondering if this was retrofitted or came from factory this way. I did find evidence in other forums where folks talked about replacing old 224s with 245 and I see where you can buy 245 movements, but I lean towards it came from factory this way and they just didn't update the manual yet. Looks like the original owner wrote the S/N in booklet that matches the watch.
