The Bulova Accutron Spaceview was an actual model sold by Bulova over a number of short years.

Just because you remove the dial off a 214 movement watch does not make it a Bulova Spaceview, it makes it a Bulova Accutron with a missing dial.

I have no skin in the game with regards to the value of an Accutron Spaceview as I don't own any, but what I do truly value is the correct identification of these early timepieces. These so called 'conversions' only muddy the waters and offer no real value to the collector community that may seek to understand what a real Spaceview looks like and is.

You can certainly call your watch a 'space view', that is your absolute right. However for the sake of correctly IDing your watch on this site I do not support such an ID. I will await the comments from the rest of the panel before finalising an ID on your watch.

1965 Bulova Accutron would be the base ID.

Does your watch have an inner case stamp corresponding to one of these numbers?
