This is one of those watches that often tricks us up with the ID and there are subtlle differences in the design. In this case the mounting around the diamond.
The Debutante has a diamond shape whereas the subject watch has a triangle, which as Alex says is a match for the Lady Bulova as shown here.
1936 Lady Bulova would be my call as well.
