I received the watch in a box of ‘stuff’ from a guy who had a knack for acquiring things others had thrown out. It sat there for a few weeks before I got around to it. My first impression was it was ‘junk’ because of the band. The crystal was dirtier than shown now  and the different dials had me thinking it wasn’t even a watch at first. Luckily, I saw the Bulova name and decided to search the numbers on the back.

I realized this wasn’t an ordinary watch and became excited as U slowly found information on the watch.

I’d like to get it refurbished and I think I’ll keep for now just because it’s so unique and I like things that reflect our history. I realize it is probably quite desirable to Bulova collectors and probably those that collect military watches. I guess my next task is to find someone I can trust to do the work. I know an old watchmaker who works on clocks who mentioned a local who works on high end watches, but I wonder if this watch requires some special knowledge.
