So i'm hoping to work out why some adverts used 'Watertight' and others 'Watertite'
Here's some early 1940s example of Watertight - Watertite adverts:
- 1940 Commander (Water-tite)
- 1941 Commander (Watertite from Canadian advert)
- 1941 Watertite advert
- 1942 Watertite advert
- 1942 Watertight advert
- 1941/42 Watertight advert
- 1941/42 Watertight advert
- 1942 Watertight advert
Nothing from 1943 to 1949 for either Watertite or Watertight.
Seems in 1941-42 Watertite and Watertight where interchangable....or am I missing something?
I'm trying to confirm the year and name variant...tight or tite, which is obviously a different watch between the subject watch and these adverts.
