I finally got it back from repair and I could not be more happy. New crystal, crown, stem, and pins plus cleaning and regulation. They removed the corrosion on the watch and even salvaged the band. As I said, this was my Grandfather's and it means the world to me. For those thinking of sending watches somewhere for repair, I cannot say enough good things about "The Clock and Watch Shop" (824 Gravier St, New Orleans LA 70112 / 504-525-3961). They're family owned, and twin brothers Brett (watches) and Matt (clocks) are superb. Plus they're both great guys!
